Site Preparation
- Clear Access: Ensure clear pathways (minimum 80cm wide) from entrance to installation area
- Clear Workspace: Remove all items from existing countertops and surrounding areas
- Plumbing & Electrical: Disconnect plumbing and remove existing fixtures before our team arrives
- Cabinets: All base cabinets must be permanently installed, level, and secure
- Temperature: Maintain room temperature between 15-25°C for 24 hours before installation
What to Expect
- We’ll contact you 1-2 days before installation to confirm timing
- Installation typically occurs 7-14 working days after templating
- Please ensure an adult (18+) is present throughout the installation process
Templating Process
Templating is a crucial step where we take precise measurements of your space to create a perfect fit.
The Templating Visit
- Our specialist will visit your home to take detailed measurements
- They will create templates that account for all angles, curves, and cutouts
- This visit typically takes 1-2 hours depending on complexity
- All cabinets must be permanently installed before templating

Installation Day
Timeline

What Our Team Will Do

What to Expect
- Some dust and noise is unavoidable despite our dust minimization efforts
- Temporary disconnection of plumbing and electrical connections
- Our team will wear protective footwear and use floor coverings when requested
Post-Installation
Initial Care
- Avoid placing heavy items on newly installed surfaces for 24 hours
- Do not clean with harsh chemicals for the first 48 hours
- Light use can begin immediately, but allow adhesives to fully cure for 24 hours
Sealing Process
- Granite surfaces will be sealed before installation
- Initial sealing is included in your installation
- We recommend resealing granite annually (quartz and Dekton do not require sealing)
Timeline for Full Use
- Surfaces can be used for light activities immediately
- Allow 24 hours before placing heavy appliances on surfaces
- Plumbing can typically be reconnected 12 hours after installation
